Bugarach, south-west region of France
Cisternino, southern Italian region of Puglia
We share the world with people who believe the world will end on Dec 21 this year because some ancient calendar predicted so. Thousands of New Age fanatics and doomsday believers already arrived in Cisternino and Bugarach to avoid the end of the world. They believe these two places are the only places to survive Armageddon and there will be special spaceships which will carry them off to a bright new world. Some of them believe Turkish village of Sirince is also a safe place. Lu Zhenghai, a Chinese man spent his £100,000 savings on a 70 ft by 50 ft vessel to escape doomsday. A man has built a luxurious underground bomb-proof shelter in California, just in case the Mayans’ predictions come true. The price of everything are now gone up in the so called apocalypseproof places. In a small village like Bugarach, you have to pay €500 for a bed in a barn.
Doomsday survival kits are available for doomsday warriors. The price ranges from $300 up to $4,000. Kits will give you survival knife, water purification tablets, non perishable food, first aid kit, flashlight, batteries, waterproof matches, lighter, thermal blankets, personal hygiene items, compass, whistle, tent etc.
Everything is so pathetic and hilarious.
By the way, is human brain shrinking?
